Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026 · Last updated September 16, 2026
This policy explains what 929900 Consulting LLC (dba North Star Capital) collects when you use our funding assessment, how we use it, and who we share it with. We have written it in plain language because you should be able to tell what happens to your information without a lawyer.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by 929900 Consulting LLC, doing business as North Star Capital. We are funding advisors — we are not a lender and we do not make credit decisions.

2. What we collect
Through our funding assessment we collect the information you give us:
- Contact details — your name, mobile number, and email address.
- Business details — your industry, how long you have been in business, average monthly revenue, how much capital you need, what the money is for, your funding timeline, whether you have applied for funding in the last 30 days, and a self-reported range for your personal credit.
- Consent records — whether you agreed to receive marketing text messages, the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you agreed on.
We also collect limited technical information automatically — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and how you moved through the assessment.
We do not run a hard credit pull. The credit information in your assessment is the range you tell us. We do not obtain a consumer report to prepare your results.
3. How we collect it
- Directly from you, when you complete the funding assessment or contact us.
- Automatically, through cookies and similar technology — see Cookies and tracking.
- From advertising platforms, when you reach us through an ad. We use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel on our pages.
4. How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your funding options.
- To match you with funding partners who may be able to fund your request.
- To contact you about your assessment and your funding options by phone and email, and by text message where you have separately agreed to receive marketing texts.
- To send you marketing about our services, where you have agreed to receive it.
- To measure and improve our advertising and our website.
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share your information in the following situations, and no others:
Funding partners
Our service works by matching you to lenders and funding providers. When we identify partners that fit your request, we share your name, email address and your assessment answers with those partners, and they may contact you directly — by phone or email — about funding for your business. This is the service you are asking us to perform when you complete the assessment. We do not share your mobile number or your SMS consent with any partner, and no partner sends you text messages.
Service providers
Companies that run things on our behalf — our CRM and messaging platform, hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.
Legal
Where we are required by law, subpoena, or regulator, or to establish or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud.
Business transfer
If our business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your information to third-party lead buyers, and we do not share it with unaffiliated companies for their own unrelated marketing.
6. Mobile opt-in data
If you agree to receive marketing text messages, we keep a record of that consent — what you agreed to, when, and where. Consent to receive marketing text messages is collected on its own and is never bundled with consent for calls, email, or any other purpose.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive messages from us is used only to send you the messages you asked for, and is never sold, rented, or transferred to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.
You can stop our text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions. Opting out of texts does not remove you from phone or email contact — email us at [email protected] to opt out of those.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember your progress through the assessment, and measure our advertising. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which tells Meta that a visit or a form submission happened so we can measure and target our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can adjust ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Consent records | 5 years | To prove what you agreed to, for the full period in which a claim could be brought. |
| Assessment and contact data | 36 months from your last interaction with us | So we can help if you come back, without holding data indefinitely. |
| Opt-out records | Indefinitely | So that once you tell us to stop, we never contact you again. |
We may keep information longer where the law requires it.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, subject to records we must keep.
- Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call +1 (727) 205-7232. We will verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time the law allows.
California residents: we do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We do share information with funding partners to deliver the service you requested (never your mobile number or your SMS consent), and with advertising platforms for measurement and targeting, which some laws treat as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may opt out by emailing us.
11. Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
